Marv Ahlstrom

Marv is a Search Engine Marketing (SEO) professional with over 16 years experience in the web and software industries. In 2000 he work for start-up Knowlix Software, a search engine startup prior to and during its acquisition by Peregrine Systems (now HP).  He has since worked as a consultant with many businesses of all sizes including Fortune 500 companies; Experian, Life Technologies (Invitrogen and Applied Biosystems), Linksys, Allergan, Scripps Hospitals, Kyocera, FEMSA, Alta Ventures Mexico, Juxta Labs,  St. Bernard Software. As a Global SEO Analyst working at Life Technologies he helped optimize thousands of product pages using long-tail optimization techniques and automated SEO tools. With a passion for Social Media he has provided consulting services to Juxta Labs as they amassed their 30 million users on their Facebook apps.

I founded OpenSite because I love working with new web technologies.
